If people followed the code of proper behavior it would lead to a harmonious, peaceful, stable society.

Daosim:
Stressed that humans should see themselves apart of nature and find peace by living simply and harmony with nature. 

Buddhism:
Knowing the The Four Noble truths about suffering on earth
People should follow the Middle path and focus on good behavior and compassion for all living things
